Show RASH OF ACCIDENTS RESULT FROM HEAVY SNOW, ICE Milford's law enforcement officers of-ficers have been busy investigating investi-gating a rash of accidents, mainly caused by the slick streets following the snowstorms. snow-storms. Several hit and run accidents were reported, in-c.uding: in-c.uding: Dec. 16, a 1961 Pontiac be-r be-r longing to Billy Joe Rogers, parked at a friend's home.suf-fered home.suf-fered $100 damage to the left rear door; Jan. 1, car of Paul McGinn, parked on Main Street, struck by unknown driver . and $35 damage resulted to left rear fender; Usher Wilcock car, parked at home or Main Street, $40 damage dam-age to left rear fender and bumper. Dave Morris car, tail light smashed. Investigation is continuing. On Dec. 22 Mary Ann Lep-pink, Lep-pink, driving her father's pickup, pick-up, made a U-turn around the Christmas tree on Main Street and hit a telephone pole. Her attention was "distracted while watching Marshal Eddie Patterson Pat-terson writing a ticket for a motorist." Damage, $250. Dec. 20, cars driven by Clair R. Lister, Parowan, and Elmo Smith, collided on ice in fog at intersection of 700 South and 500 West. Damage to Lister Lis-ter car, $100. Dec. 29, car driven by Rick Rose struck Dave Morris GMC truck when Mr. Morris stopped to park at curb. Damage to Rose car, $85. Dec. 25, car driven by Gary Banks struck parked car of Doug Bolton, while making right turn at intersection. Damage Dam-age to Bolton car $25; damage to Banks car $100. Dec. 18. North American Van Lines truck driven by Thomas L. Dewsnup, Ft. Wayne, Ind., and car driven by Elmer Mur-dock, Mur-dock, Minersville, collided on U-130. Truck was passing when Mr. Murdock started right turn. Damage to Murdock Mur-dock car, $400. Dec. 26. Daniel Edward Lee making turn on Middle Valley Road in South Milford, steering steer-ing mechanism broke and car went out of control. Damage, S150.
