Show Mr. and Mrs. Alex Boyter, Mrs. Jay Boyter and family, all of Beaver, Gayle's sister and husband. hus-band. Gay and Mike Schow of Cedar City, Mrs. Euzell Thomas and Mrs. Virginia Gillins. both of Milford. Nora Wright spent last week in Beaver cari.ng for her grandchildren, grand-children, the children of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Wright. Maureen Miller and daughters, daugh-ters, Kathy and Debbie, joined by Connie of St. George, drove to Manti where they helped Maureen's father, Alma Banks, celebrate his 85th birthday anniversary an-niversary Sunday. Another one of Maureen's daughters, Joy 1'urpin and son Tracy of Salt Lake, joined the group in Manti. Man-ti. Bill and Carlene Reese and family of Granger spent last Thursday, visiting their parents David and Lucy Reese. Mrs. Blanche Gronning of Salt Lake City accompanied them. She visited with friends in Milford. The following attended the funeral of Reed Edwards last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Thur-land Thur-land D. Sly, Mr. and Mrs. Har- Mitchell Baxter and Irs brother-in-law of Simi Valley, Calif, visited in Milford and Minersviile last week. Mitchell visited h!s fclks. Iona and Max and Guy visited the Baxters and his father, Alfred Hesling-1on, Hesling-1on, who is confined to the Milford Mil-ford hospital. He also visited his mother, Mrs. Heslington in Minersviile. Max and Iona Baxter drove to Salt Lake last weekend, picking pick-ing up Iona's mother, Mrs. Sophie So-phie Bruno of Nephi, on the way. They visited Iona's two brothers, Albert Cloward and Bernell Bruno, both of whom have been confined to hispitals in Salt Lake. Mr. and Mrs. Mel Mayer, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Briggs, Jerry Hanson, and Sharon Thomas were guests of Mel's parents. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mayer. Mel, Jerry and Rcger are seniors at Loma Linda Med'.cal and Dental Dent-al School, Loma Linda University, Univers-ity, Calif. On Sunday the group, including Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mayer and daughter Sa.ndi. went to Brian Head Ski Resort. The Loma Linda group remained remain-ed at Brian Head to ski for a few days. Mcl and his wife are returning to Milford Wednesday Wednes-day to spend the remainder of the week with Mel's parents and sister. Mrs Sade Griffiths is home after spending three months in Tcmpe, Ariz with her sen Bill and daughter-in-law, Margaret and family. Keith and Joan Long spent four days in Wise, last week, where Keith had business to attend at-tend to. While there they visited visit-ed Joan's mother, Mrs. W. H. Berger of Janesville, Wise., and Joan's sister, Mrs. Allen Behl-ing Behl-ing and family of Evansville, Wise. Last Monday, Keith, Joan and daughter Elaine and Elaine's friend, Kathleen Birdsong, left for Salt Lake City, then on to ihe Hawaiian Islands for about two and a half weeks. Helping to celebrate the birthday birth-day of Linda Paice on Sunday were her husband Jeff, son Eric and grandparents, Max and Iona Baxter. Spending Saturday night at the home of his mother, Althe-da Althe-da Gale, were her son Don and family of Bountiful. Sunday, great-grandma Altheda entertained enter-tained a family dinner in honor of the blessing of her great-granddaughter, great-granddaughter, Donetta Young, the daughter cf Don and Gayle Young. Others attending were grandmother Emma Jane Boyter Boy-ter and Tammie and grandmother, grand-mother, Olive Young, all of Milford; great-grandparents, old Edwards and Mrs. Norma Edwards. Reed was a cousin. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nichols have received word that their son Rcdney, who is filling a mission in Colorado, is being trained as a financial secretary at the present time and in about two weeks will be put in as District President over the entire en-tire Colorado Mission. He is serving in Denver at present. LuDean and Jetta Barnes spent a couple of days in Las Vegas,' where LuDean played in the Union Pacific Golf Tourney. Tour-ney. Olive Root accompanied her son and wife, Maurice and Janet Jan-et Root of Provo, to Las Vegas to attend the U.P.R.R. Golf Tourney last week. They visited visit-ed Olive's daughter and husband hus-band and family, Kay and Mike Rich and boys. Maurice played in the tournament. They saw many eld friends that they hadn't had-n't seen for a long time. , John and Nadine Jones and family were in Salt Lake last weekend where they visited John's sister and husband, Donna Don-na and Ross Cottrell. Bill Rogers is undergoing surgery in Salt Lake City. |
