Francis Marshall, Kayleen Carter, Debbie Williams, Jolyn Dotson and Wendy Gillins were in Salt Lake over the weekend to attend a FHA convention. Tom and Joan Makin and children of Syracuse spent the weekend visiting their parents, Howard and Gwen Pryor. Little Brett celebrated his birthday while here. A birthday party was enjoyed enjoy-ed by a few friends of Ada Edwards Ed-wards on Friday night. Pot-luck Pot-luck was served to June Griffiths, Grif-fiths, DeVota Heslington, La-Rue La-Rue Thompson, Ethel Mathews, Lela Evans, Drucella Carter. The evening was spent in just visiting. Glen and Pat Banks' called on their mother, Armina Banks, on Wednesday. They were on tneir way to Calif, to attend the funeral for Pat's father. Tamara Gillins and daughter from Idaho is visiting her parents, par-ents, Ern and Shirley Myers, for a week. She came down to attend the funeral of her uncle, Reed Edwards. Vella Stephenson has returned return-ed home after visiting for two months in Calif, and in Salt Lake. Don Hutchinson has gone to Portland, Ore. for a week to attend a school for John Deere machinery maintenance. In Sacrament meeting Sunday afternoon the following babies were blesseed and given names. A baby girl of Ralph and Marilyn Mari-lyn Wallbeck was named Kimberly Kim-berly by her father. A son of Brent R. and Darla (Eyre) Johnston was named Brett R. by his grandfather, James Eyre. Marsha Harding and children are visiting for a week with her parents, Marshall and Nellie Hollingshead. Newell and Vera Carter enjoyed en-joyed Sunday dinner in Beaver at the home of Dick and Sue Davis. Kurtt Bchn. Las Vegas, came up during the week to get his parents, Andy and Lola Bohn, and took them home with him for a visit. Gladys Myers also went with him so she could visit for awhile with her daughter, daugh-ter, Lee and Sally Smith and family. Mr. and Mrs. Jack Roberts, Spanish Fork, spent the weekend week-end visiting his brother, Phil and Lola Roberts, and a sister, Jane Theriot. He also visited his mother, Albateen Roberts, who is in the nursing home at the Milford Hospital. On Saturday while Sheral Carter was out feeding his cattle cat-tle he had the misfortune of ' slipping on the ice and falling against a manger, hitting his leg and receiving a bad break just above the knee. Dan and Eva Davis announce the birth of a new grandson cn Saturday, Feb. 3, born to Larry and Rita Hugh in the Provo hospital. Dan and Eva went up on Friday for a visit. Eva will be staying for a longer long-er visit to help with the new baby. Delmar Gray spent a few days in Las Vegas visiting with his son, Leslie and Kaye Gray and family. Daisel and Wilma Davis motored mo-tored to Salt Lake Monday to take Sheral Davis to consult |
