Show Board To Offer Bonds For 15 Years Main purpose of the Board of Education at their last meeting meet-ing was to canvas the results of the Bond Election held on Tuesday, October 10th. They passed a resolution offering the bonds for sale. On motion of Clark Smith surance Co. that each family adding a foster Indian child to their home would have to pay $2.00 per month more for insuring the child. Clark Smith moved the board pay the extra ex-tra $2.00 per month. Voting for were Yardley, Smith and Sullivan, Sulli-van, Against, Lamb. Daisel R. Davis, President of the Beaver County Classified School Employees Assn. met with the board and requested their association be granted Health Insurance benefits and Long Term Disability benefits like the teachers receive, and that are paid by the board. This was approved by the board unanimously. Dr. Vaughn Hall, of the State Board of Education met with the board and presented the District Evaluation made in 1972. Next beard meeting will be Wednesday, November 1 at the District office in Beaver. seconded by Lamb, it was moved that the bands be sold so they could be paid back over a 15-year period. Other business included: Clair Lee met with the board. He said he was building a new business building just south of the Beaver High School campus. He said that he must build 1 ft. south of his property line because the footing foot-ing of the building would extend ex-tend one foot and be on the property li.ne. He asked the board to authorize him to place the footing of the building 1 loot over on the school property proper-ty so that his wall can be built upright on the property line. The board took no action on his request, but authorized tne Board President, Karl Truman to check with the school attorney at-torney on this matter.
