Show COMPROMISE NETS 822,500 ADDITIONAL IN REVENUE SHARING FOR COUNTY Rep. Sherman P. Lloyd, R. Utah, reported this week that a House-Senate Conference Committee had reached agreement agree-ment on a compromise Revenue Sharing plan that will provide county and local governments in Beaver County with $72,485 during the first year of the program. This represents an increase of over $22,659 over the original origi-nal House version, Lloyd said. Of the total the county will receive $45,303, with local governments gov-ernments receiving $27,182, according ac-cording to Lloyd The Utah Congressman said that Utah's share of the $5.3 billion dollar program is $20.2 million, approximately the same as under the House bill. Under the compromise plan more of the money is distributed distribu-ted to local governments rather than the state. |
