Show Mr. and Mrs. Richard Timm and Irl Timm and family. The Callao School attended the Fair in Salt Lake Friday. Parents who went along were Leah Layland, Mr. and Mrs. A A. Christensen, Zerma Tripp a.nd Mr. and Mrs. Gail Parker. Karen Robinson is. the new school teacher in Callao this year. Steve Wilson from the Bureau Bur-eau of Mines in Salt Lake and an old friend of the family visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm Saturday. While out riding Dennis Timm's horse slipped in a mud puddle and Dennis ended up with a broken collar bone Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Gail Parker on their new baby girl. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Timm and Irl Timm were in Delta Friday. Now back to the southern end of the valley: Eskdale School was up Snake Creek Friday on a picnic LaVon Rowley and son Rett went to Callao Sunday to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm. Barbara Rowley and two children spent a week in Cal-lao Cal-lao visiting with her family. Gomer Thomas of Salt Lake is here visiting with friends at the Martin Baker residence. Chub and Jolene Richardson were in Delta Monday Frona Huntington and Barbara Bar-bara Rowley were in Delta Tuesday. Mr. and Mrs. La Von Rowley were in Delta Saturday to attend at-tend a party at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Bob Oppenheimer in honor of Milt McQuery in appreciation of all his professional profes-sional help, given to his fellow trapper in hunting coyotes. He was presented with a plaque and a .new television set. Cecil Rowley was in Cedar City Wednesday on state road business. Verna May Sims and Barbara Bar-bara Gene Rowley were in Delta Monday. While there they visited with Verna's mother, mo-ther, Velma Timm and family. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm and Richard Timm were in Ely Thursday to see Mt, Wheeler Power Co. Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Bates and family were in Ely Thursday to take care of business with Mt. Wheeler Power Co. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm were in Salt Lake Sunday to attend the Fair and visit with their daughter and husband, Mr and Mrs. Bill Sorenson and granddaughter, Candace. Whitney, and if you can climb Wheeler Peak you can easily climb Mt. Whitney. Mrs Dian Taylor and children child-ren are here visiting with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Tanner. Tan-ner. Next week I will have some information about Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Osborne's trip in the northern country. Gail Parker of Callao was here Sunday visiting with his mother, Ellen Ryder in Baker. Howard a.nd Vanda Baker celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary Friday Rick Jorden will be working in Partown with Joe Shoe. A party was held Saturday evening at the Martin Baker residence (Border place) in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Cruz Quiroz celebrating their anniversary anni-versary and Lisa and Dora Quiroz's birthdays. Everyone had a good time dancing to to music by Martin Baker and Delores Quiroz. Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Timm visited at the home of their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. LaVon Rowley and children child-ren Saturday evening and Sunday. Sun-day. They tock their granddaughter grand-daughter Franchesca back with them to visit. Mr. and Mrs. Howard Sie-grist Sie-grist of Las Vegas and Mr. and Mrs. Sam McKibbon of Kingman, King-man, Ariz, were here over the weekend to visit with Mr. and Mrs. Mac McCuen and Rick McCuen. Mr. and Mrs. joe Quiroz and children have moved to a mobile mo-bile home on the McCuen's ranch. |
