Show ACTIVITIES PLANNED FOR GIRL SCOUT WEEK IN MILFORD Girl Scout Week, March 8 to 14, will be fittingly observed in Milford, according to Mrs. Naia Beard, local Girl Scout leader. All Girl Scouts are being encouraged to attend the church of their choice, in uniform and with their families, on Girl Scout Sunday, March 8th. They are also being urged to wear their uniforms in all pjJblic appearances during the week, Mrs. Beard said. On March 12th, the birthday of the Girl Scout organization, all girls and their mothers will attend a meeting at 4 p. m. in the IOOF Hall. The observance observ-ance will include a flag presentation pres-entation ceremony by the Brownies, the Cadets will repeat re-peat the Girl Scout laws, and the Juniors will receive the badges they have earned. Miss Shirley Foreman of Salt Lake, district director, will attend this meeting and will present a movie, "Adventures) "Adven-tures) in Friendship." Local Girl Scout leaders are: Brownies Mrs. Edith Wisner and Mrs. Gloria Slinkerd. Juniors Mrs. Naia Beard and Mrs. Charlotte Wise. Cadets Mrs. Adrlne Roberts, Mrs. Mary Raines and Mrs. Nadine Jones. |
