Show This Week in MINERSVILLE as reported by G WEN PRYOR Susan Camp, D U P, held their monthly meeting Friday at the home of Mrs. Ilene Gray. Nine members were present. Mrs. Vivian Marshall has returned home from California where she has been taking care of her mother, Mrs. Laura Corbridge, who has been very ill. 9 Mr. and Mrs. Claude Myers of Craig, Colo., will visit relatives rel-atives here tihs week, en route to California and Arizona. Grace Marshall, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Faye Marshall, enjoyed her eighth birthday Jan. 20. Her many schoolmates celebrated with her. Debra Gillins, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Gillins, celebrated her 13th birthday on Jan. 20th with a party. Pinochle Club was held at the home of Mrs. June Marshall Mar-shall Tuesday, Jan. 21. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Carter i spent the week end in Salt Lake visiting their children, Mr. and Mrs. LaVere Carter and Mr. and Mrs. Verl Holda-way Holda-way and children. Mrs. Augusta Marshall will be in Salt Lake for medical care this week. Ross Kelsey went to Salt Lake this week for medical care at the V A Hospital. David Pryor of San Diego, Calif., spent the week end with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Pryor. Mr. and Mrs. Ruben Dotson will go to Salt Lake this week end to attend exercises at which their son Nick will be graduated from electronics school. Mrs. Lucy Williams spent Monday in Cedar City. Charles Craw is at the home of his son Jack for a few days. He has been a patient at the Beaver County Hospital for the past several weeks after suffering suf-fering a stroke. He will return re-turn to the hospital this week end for further treatment. Mrs. Theo Marshall was entertained en-tertained at a family birthday party last 'Monday. Her children chil-dren and her brothers and sisters sis-ters and their families helped celebrate her birthday. Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Murdock of Cedar City visited at the home of Mrs. Murdock's mother moth-er Mrs. Amanda Nolder, on Monday of last week. Mr. Murdock Mur-dock invited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pryor to Milford to have dinner with them to celebrate cele-brate his wife's birthday. Lela Evans is now at home, recuperating from a recent illness ill-ness during which she was confined con-fined to the Beaver County Hospital. Mrs. Jennie Marquardson is a patient at the Beaver County Hospital recuperating from a slight stroke she suffered last wek end. t Mr. and Mrs. Jennie Edwards and sons of Cedar City spent (he week end here with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. James Eyre and family. |
