Show GEORGE WESTWOOD DIES IN MILFORD George William Westwood died Sunday, August 19th at Beaver County Hospital. He was born Mar., 8, 1883 at Fountain Green, Utah, to George Westwood and Sarah Ellen Rueberry, and was a member of the L.D.S. Church. He married Sarah Christene Smith Feb. 22, 1912 He later . married Lillia Mae Taylor Lee in 1926. Survivors include his wife, 1 daughter, Irene Stewart Thurston; Thurs-ton; 5 grandchildren; 10 greatgrandchildren; great-grandchildren; 4 step-sons, Ed Taylor, Columbia, Utah; Orson Taylor, Salt Lake City, Utah; Thelbert Taylor, Oregon; Veloy Lee, Empire, Oregon; and Mrs. Thenilda Lee Glennion, Folsom, Celif. Also surviving him are 2 brothers: Jim Vestwood, Bountiful, Boun-tiful, Utah, and Ephraim West-wood, West-wood, Vernal Utah; 3 sisters, Lydia Hurst, Salt Lake City, Utah; Gertrude Staudmeister, Youngstown, Ohio; Eunice Stuggs of California. Friends called at Southern Utah Mortuary at Milford Wednesday night from 7p.m. to 9 p.m. Prayer was given at the mortuary by A. Don Alger. Services were held at Price, Utah, Thursday, Aug. 23, at 11 a.m. Prelude and post music was played by 9hanna Thomas, Thom-as, who also accompanied the singers. Opening prayer was given by David Anderson; a solo, "The Lord's Prayer", was sung by Murray Shorts; Life History was given by Byrd Gordon; Speakers were LeVon Grund-vig Grund-vig and Jesse Bryan; a quartet sang "Sometime We'll Under-stany", Under-stany", by Agnes Coleman, Margaret Wengreen, Winona Marx and Lorraine Clair. Closing prayer was given by Gayle Taylor; grave dedication was by Orson Taylor, and the burial took place in the Price City Cemetery. |
