CLINIC The first CSU.BYU Publications Publi-cations Clinic was held Saturday, Sat-urday, April 29, at CSU. in Cedar City. Two students Marsha Smith and Joyce Moore attended with Mrs. McCulley the advisor. They attended classes all during the day, the classes were for students interested in paper and yearbook year-book work. The Clinic started at 9:30 and continued until noon, at which time lunch was served by the college. Seminars started at 1 and concluded at 3 p. m. The clinic was the first of its kind held and was very successful in all fields of Journalism. MILORD, BEAVER, DUAL ... MEET Next Thursday, afternoon the Milford Tigers will play host to the Baver Beavers in the annual an-nual dual track meet. This track meet is an annual event between the two schools, and will start at 2:00. p.m.. All track and field events will be ;narticipated in. This should prove to be a very successful meet for both schools PRE-REGISTRATION The students of MHS were given a packet, Friday, containing con-taining information about next years schedule, the packet con- This registration plan is to facilitate better planning and preparation for next year. This will aid parents, students and faculty, anticipating needs and requirements in advance. Then changes can be made If necessary and students notified noti-fied so they may make changes on their cards. Final registration will take place next fall. GRATUATES TRAVEL TO PROVO Saturday, April 29, the Seminary Semi-nary graduates of Milford traveled to Provo. The gratuates met at the church at 5:30 a.m. where they were assigned to cars and then motored to Provo. They arrived ar-rived on the BYU campus at 10 a.m. where they met Mr. Gary Anderson who accompanied accom-panied them on their trip. Paul Stephenson, a student at the Y, conducted a tour around the campus. First they visited the Planetarium, where they learned about the stars and planets. This was very interesting to the group. Then they toured the Science Sci-ence Building, the Home Living Liv-ing Building, the Fieldhouse, where the Juniors were decorating decor-ating for their Junior Prom, and then had lunch in the cafeteria. After lunch the graduates went up to Timpanogos where they hiked 1 miles up to the caves. The students then toured the Handsome Cave, the Middle Cave, and Timpanogos Cave. When the students reached the top, some of the remarks were: "We are thirsty," and "Get some elevators." The students stu-dents enjoyed touring the caves but didn't care for all the walking.
