Show CITY TO CONTINUE CITIZENSHIP AWARD AT SCHOOL The annual Citizenship Award, originated by Mayor Ray Kizer, in which a citizenship citi-zenship shoulder patch and reimbursement for the cost of a Milford High School Junior boy and Junior girl's class sweater are presented to the boy and girl considered consid-ered most outstanding in citizenship citi-zenship qualifications, will be continued as a Milford City Council award. The city council took action approving the award at their regular meeting Monday. Other action included adoption adop-tion of a "new set of rules" for horse owners occupying stables at the fairgrounds, and consideration of adopting a city employees' retirement system, sys-tem, made possible by legislative legis-lative action at the last session, of the Utah Legislature. The matter will be considered consid-ered further at a special meeting meet-ing to be held June 26th. ' The new horse owner rules limit each horse to two stables, require stables to be kept in a clean condition at all times, any improvements made be come the property of the city and in event a stable is not used for six months, the stable is considered vacant and may be reassigned. |
