Show of Mrs. Hickman's sister, Mrs. Roy Rogers. Billie Joe Rogers, son of Mr. and Mrs. Sheridan Rogers, is now in Los Angeles with an aunt, Mrs. Thelma Caperon. and Mrs. Herbert M. Blake, in Milford. Mr and Mrs. S. K. Munk returned re-turned to Milford Aug. 31 after a visit in California, then left Sept. 1 to visit Mrs. Munk's sister at Helper, and a brother in Price. Garland Wade Meadows, stationed sta-tioned at the Marine base at San Diego, Calif., spent the Labor Day holidays with his grandmother, grandmoth-er, Mrs. Mary Roane, and his uncle, James Roane, at Sylmar, Calif. 0 Lani Baxter spent her vacation with her grandmother in Sylmas, Calif., and also visited her cous-ine cous-ine Marie and Darlene in Venice, Ven-ice, Calif. Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Winn and son of Spencer, Idaho, were in Mr. and Mrs. Harold Cline. ?!tff couple is now in Salt Lake where Mr. Boss will register this fall at the U of U School of Law and Mrs. Boss will teach at Roosevelt Elementary School. Mrs. Jonelle Hopkins and two children of Venice, Calif., are here with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Max Baxter, for a two-week visit. Nancy Handley, 18 year old daughter of Bud Handley, will returned to Grand Junction, Colo. Thursday evening to prepare to enter the fall quarter at the BYU. She has been in Milford with her father. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Hickman of Grand Coulee, Wash., spent this week in Milford at the home Personal Mention George Baxter received word of the death of a sister, Mrs. lone Gillespie, at Durango, Colo. Mrs. Elmo Smith and son George were recently in Los Angeles An-geles and San Francisco on their vacation. Harriet Cline is in Salt Lake assisting in the Alpha Phi Sorority Soror-ity pre-school rush. She will enroll en-roll at the U of U this fall. Mrs. Phylis Symond and son Mike were week-end visitors to Los Angeles. Mrs. Helen Bushman of Las Vegas and parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roberts of Van Nuys, Cal., were in Milford and Minersville last week end, en route to their homes after attending the wedding wed-ding of Linda Williams, a granddaughter grand-daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roberts, Rob-erts, to Dennie Lee Jenson in Nampa, Idaho. Sue Ann Thompson, now attending at-tending a beauty school in Salt Lake, was home over the week end at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ward Thompson. 9 Leland Thompson and girl friend, Miss Rose Feoco of Salt Lake, were in Milford over the Labor Day holidays. They were guests at the home of Leland's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson. 9 Vernon Gronning has been awarded legal custody of his two children, Chris and James. They will live with their father in South Milford. o Mr. an Mrs. E. J. Cahill have moved to Salt Lake, where Mr. Cahill is employed by the U P. 9 Norman and Sherie Thompson, I who had been living in Pocatello, ' Idaho, have moved to Milford and are living in one of the Les Clay rental apartments. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Tait have moved into the home of Mrs. Hazel Ruth. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Myers have moved back to Milford from Salt Lake. o Mr. and Mrs. Roy Nicholson and three teen age children, Gary, Monty and Jimmie, of Los Angeles, and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Rowley and small daughter of Oasis were in Milford on Labor Day at the home of relatives, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Bonadurer. The group and Mr. and Mrs. Bonadurer Bona-durer had been in St. George attending at-tending a Wilson and Lund family fam-ily reunion. While Dr. and Mrs. Lloyd Kohler were on vacaiton in Salt Lake they received word that a new grandson was born Sunday, I Sept. 4, to James and Madelyn Mash. They returned to Milford and Mrs. Kohler left by plane for Phoenix, Ariz., to be with her daughter and family. Mr. and Mrs. Mash have two other children, Becky and Frankie. o Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Brinkman and baby Julia of Salt Lake were in Milford over the Labor Day holidays at the home of parents Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper and Mr. and Mrs. A. A. Brinkma' Dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Cooper last Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Blackburn and daughter Irma Jean of Minersville; Min-ersville; Russell and Jackie (Blackburn) Muir and three children chil-dren of Denver, Colo.; Leland Thompson and Miss Rose Feor" and Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Brink man of Salt Lake, and Mr. and Mrs. Earl Thompson. Recent visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Mayer were a niece of Mrs. Mayer and her family, Mr. and Mrs. Al Ogle and daughter of Riverside, Calif., and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Wheeler and children of Hurricane, accompanied accompa-nied by Mr. Wheeler's mother and a grandson Johnnie of Lincoln, Lin-coln, Nebr. Mr. Wheeler is assisting as-sisting with the Seventh-day Ad-ventist Ad-ventist services until the Milford Church has been assigned a new Minora over the Labor Day holidays, holi-days, at the homes of parents Mr. and Mrs. Steve Clements and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Winn. Mrs. Steve Clements returned last week from Spencer, Idaho, where she spent a week with her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Winn. En route home she stopped in Salt Lake for a few days. e Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Sanford of Albany, Ga., stopped in Milford while on their vacation to call on Mrs. Sanford's mother, Mrs. Antone Johnson; two sisters and their husbands, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar La-mar Outzen and Mr. and Mrs. Max Root. Mrs. Edith Osborn quietly spent her 86th birthday, Sept. 7, at the home of her son in law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. C. R, Grimshaw. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Baxter and son Douglas were in Elko, Nev., over the Labor Day holidays, holi-days, attending the fair and horse races. Mrs. Ireta Fotheringham of Cedar City attended the open house observing the 80th birth anniversary of Mrs. Pline Carter. She was also in Milford calling on friends and relatives. George and Ruth Boss returned from Europe on Aug. 10 after spending i the summer abroad. While in Milford they were at the home of Mrs. Boss' parents, pastor. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Lee Jensen Jen-sen of Nampa, Idaho, newlyweds, were in Milford during their honeymoon trip. Mrs. Jensen is the former Linda Williams, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Williams of Nampa, former Milford Mil-ford residents. have moved into the home of Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Rose Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bradshaw. Mr. and Mrs. F. A. Bingham are visiting relatives in California. Cali-fornia. Mrs. Belle Frances and son Marion D. of Los Angeles were here recently at the home of Mrs. Frances' sister, Mrs. Sarah Beard. Visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph R. Murdock were their son in law and daughter, daugh-ter, Fife and Betty Ogburn and children, Janet and Bob, of Yuba City, Calif.; their son Gordon and his wife Elnore and their chil-ren, chil-ren, Annette, Rodney and Jody, who were en route from Santa Rosa to their new home in Phoenix, Ariz.; and their son Joe and wife LaRae, with their children, chil-dren, David, Richard, Diane and Julie, all of Orem. Mrs. Thelma Derrick and son Steve of George Air Force Base Dunlap and son in Las Vegas, and while their mother was visiting visit-ing in Nevada Mrs. Derrick's son David and daughter Kelly Ann visited their grandparents, Mr. |
