Show FRIDAY WAS BIG DAY AT M H S Last Friday members of the student body presented an assembly as-sembly in the morning. Every class was represented. The program pro-gram consisted of songs, skits, and musical numbers, with a large group of students participating. partici-pating. ! Later in the afternoon Milford I High had their first pep assembly assem-bly of the year. The team marched across the stage and took their seats at the front of the auditorium. The Pep Class, consisting of 48 girls, sat right behind the team and yelled their loudest. The band also played at the assembly. There was a lot of pep and school spirit shown. Yelling, screams, and the band were a part of the Pep Rally held before the game Friday night. The cheerleaders, in flashy uniforms, led the yelling crowd down Main Street, to the top of the school hill to the game. In the evening Milford High School played their first football game of the season against the Richfield Wildcats. The Tigers were the winning team, by the score of 19 to 7. The Tigers played a very good game, and hope they keep up their fine work. The M H S Student Council presented a dance immediately after the Milford -Richfield game. It was a combination Victory and Get-Acquainted dance. The new furniture purchased and donated by the classes to the New Student Lounge was exhibited at the dance. This furniture fur-niture is now being used in the lounge. |
