Show Services Held Monday For Brenda Mayer Funeral services were conducted conduct-ed Monday for Brenda Louise Mayer, 3, who died June 2 in a Salt Lake hospital from bleeding from dialted veins in the esophagus. esopha-gus. She had received 11 pints of transfused blood in Milford, and several transfusions in Salt Lake, in an effort to save her life. Elder C. J. Phillips of Reno, Nov., Conferenc Home Missionary Mission-ary secretary for the Seventh-day i Adventist Church, and Pastor Currier of Salt Lake officiated at the services. Musical numbers were a solo, "Lullabye," by Mrs. Ramona Smith, and a vocal duet, "Golden Daybreak," by Chester Palmer and Beverly Thomas of Salt Lake, and a solo by Chester Palmer. Vickie Fothringham played organ music. Pallbearers were Karen Mayer, Odette Mayer, Marilyn Mayer, La-von La-von Richert. Flower girls were Pamela Edwards, Diane Weston, Candy Grimshaw, Kathy Killam, Elaine Davis, Elaine Schow, Joan Edwards, and Loni Baxter. Attending the services from out of town were grandparents Mr. and Mrs. T. A. Weishaar of I Springer, New Mexico, and Mrs. Emma Mayer of Shafter, Calif.; I Mr. and Mrs. Gideon Richert and j Lavon of Shafter; Mr. and Mrs. Al Petty of Lancaster, Calif.; Mrs.. Bill Lauffenberger of Bak- ersfield, Calif.; Mrs. Doris Wheel-1 Wheel-1 er and Nancy. ' Brenda Louise Mayer was born Oct. 18, 1956, in Milford, to Lloyd Stilwell and Evelyn Louise Weishaar Weis-haar Mayer. Surviving, besides her parents, are a brother and sister, Lloyce Mayer, 13, and Melvin Mayer, 11. |
