Show THIS WEEK IN MINERSVILLE By Marybelle Eyre j e The Married folks Dance was a larger success this year than ever before. There was a larger crowd and Milford and Beaver were both I well represented. Parties following the married j folks dance were held at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Eyre, Mr. j and Mrs. iFay Marshall and Mr. j and Mrs. Rulon Eyre. Mr. and Mrs. Heber Gillins were hosts Saturday night at a party in their home. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Sheral Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre, Mr. and Mrs. Dwight Carter, Mr. and Mrs. Keith Rollins, Mr. and Mrs. Clark Gillins, Mr. and Mrs. Delmar Gray, Mrs. Daisy Gillins and Mrs. Donna Boyter. The group enjoyed a hot turkey dinner, then played tuxedo, with prizes going to Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre, Delmar Gray and Lei a Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Garold Eyre enjoyed en-joyed a few days in California this week where they visited relatives in Barstow and Whittier. They also visited in Las Vegas. Mr. and Mrs. Ross Marshall joined Mr. and Mrs. Lester Roberts Rob-erts on a trip to California. They returned Monday and Mr. and Mrs. Roberts left Tuesday for their home in Oregon, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Hayward Carter. Mr. and Mrs. Truman Brad-field Brad-field and Mary Lue left Friday for California where they will visit their children, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Jay Smith. Mr. and Mrs. William Gibson are here visiting her mother, Mrs. Nellie Eyre. Bill returned Sun- I day to his home in California. ' Mr. and Mrs. Thurman Eyre ! and William Gibson were in Cedar City Saturday, visiting and attending attend-ing to business. The Genealogy Society presented present-ed the program in the Sunday evening eve-ning service. Speakers were Dan Davis and Darwin Marshall. j The Square Dance Club elected new offices at their regular meeting meet-ing this week: Mr. and Mrs. Leon Thompson, president; Mr. and Mrs. James Eyre, vice president, and Mr. and Mrs. Karl Truman, secretary. |
