Show WATER OUTLOOK BELOW NORMAL IN BEAVER DRAINAGE Precipitation during the fall and , early winter has varied considerably consider-ably from month to month over ! Southern Utah. September was an exceptionally heavy month with much, above normal precipitation precipi-tation over the Virgin and upper Sevier River drainages. October was light, while November experienced exper-ienced amounts generally near normal. During December most of Southern Utah had no measurable measur-able precipitation. Water-year forecast for the Beaver River is for 28,000 acre feet, or 68 of the 15-year average. Expected April-June inflow to Minersville Reservoir Is for only 2700 acre-feet. Forecasts for the Beaver River are prepared in cooperation with Lee Strong, Beaver River Water Commissioner. |
