Show DELTA HORSE WINS BIG BEAVER DERBY Ideal weather, fast horses, unusually un-usually large crowds, and a Pioneer Day parade that rivaled that of Beaver's Centennial year all combined com-bined to make Beaver's 1959 Race Meet and Pioneer Day celebration one of the best in the history of a community that is widely known for the excellence of these events. While the crowd attending the ' races on the first day did not measure mea-sure up to the estimated 3000 and 2000 of the other two days, it was a good-sized one for the opening day and no one went away disappointed. disap-pointed.
