Show Legislators to Pause In Beaver for Sunday Members of the Utah Legislature, Legisla-ture, who are "junketing" to Glen Canyon Dam for opening of the new bridge across the chasim, will be in Beaver at 10 a. m. Sunday morning, en route back to the Capital Cap-ital City, and a "coffee break" at Beaver has been arranged. Mayor Martell Easton advised that the three busloads of lawmakers lawmak-ers will be met South of town by State Highway Patrol and Beaver City police cars, and escorted into the city. The Beaver High School Band and the National Guard will be on hand to greet the legislators when they are officially welcomed by Mayor Easton. The 100 to 115 State Representatives Represent-atives will be served coffee and other beverages, with doughnuts or sandwiches, in the Beaver IOOF hall, and it is expected they will be agreeable to a brief question and answer session to discuss pending legislation. At 1 p. m. the legislators will hold a mock session in the Old State 'Capitol at Fillmore. |
