Show TIGERS PRIMED FOR 'WAR' AT BEAVER FRIDAY NIGHT The Milford Tigers, after surviving sur-viving one do-or-die contest last Friday, face another at Beaver Friday night. Last week they barely stalled off a determined last-quarter drive by the Parowan Rams to defeat the Rams and throw the district into a tie for first place. This week, in addition to the pressure of meeting their traditional tradi-tional rivals, they will be under the added pressure of knowing that a loss will force them into an elimination elim-ination contest with the Dixie Division Di-vision for a state tourney spot. Milford has seldom defeated Beaver at Beaver. Parowan ds expected to win their game with Millard, which' will be played at Parowan, and if the Tigers Tig-ers defeat Beaver, a playoff will be necessary to determine the Millard Mil-lard Division winner. Last week Belliston and Hardy were the last-quarter sparks. Twice during the final period the Rams pulled to within one point of the Tigers. On one occasion occa-sion Hardy made an' interception and went in for a basket and a three-point margin, and on the other occasion it was Belilston who gave the Tigers a breathing, margin, then as the Rams were taking the ball down the court Denny stole the ball and went in for a layup and a five-point margin. mar-gin.
