Show MILFORD BY DAVID KILLAM SENIOR DANCE HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL l-'ridav evening over three-ouarU-rs of the M IIS students turned out to the Senior Dance and Carnival, making this the most Miccchsful inlormal dance nf the past five years. Cake, candy, candied apples, sandwiches, nunch and chili were sold. A cake walk and "What's in the house" contest were sponsored, and a cake raffle and bakery aulcion held. A prize was given to the seventh sev-enth grade for Inn ing the largest larg-est percentage of their class in attendance. During the evening many gallons of punch, 11 cakes, along with candy and chili w ere consumed. The gymnasium was decorated decor-ated in the Seniors' prom colors. col-ors. Dancing was to the music ( if Jake's Orchestra. REHEARSAL STARTS Rehearsal of the Senior play, "The Importance of Being Ernest," is now under way. Members of the cast are Craig Baxter, Karolyn Black-ner, Black-ner, farry Lofthouse, David Bown, Denny Belliston, Mary Edwards, iNora Walker and I larvcy Campbell . "The Importance of Being Ernest," which ran for three years on Broadway, is set in the 1890s in England. It revolves re-volves around a group of characters char-acters who arc "real corkers." This play, which is sure to tickle yntir funny bone, will be presented Dec. 18 and 19. TRAVELING ASSEMBLY GOES ON ROAD Kay Gray, vice president, announced that the annual Traveling Assembly is ready and has scheduled its tour for the 20th and 21st. Visits will be made to Beaver, Parowan, Cedar, Fillmore and Delta. JUNIORS RECEIVE CLASS SWEATERS The Juniors received their red class sweaters during the last hours of school , Wednesday. Wednes-day. The Juniors are now proudly displaying their sweaters sweat-ers which have a block "M" on the right front side with a tiger crawling on it, '"60" on the other side, and "Milford" in script on the back. |
