Show Mabel M. Gentry Funeral services for Mrs.; Mabel Madsen Gentry, 71, were conducted Monday afternoon aft-ernoon in the Beaver First-Third First-Third Ward Chapel. Mrs. Gentry, a former !Bea-ver. !Bea-ver. resident, died Friday of last week in a Cedar City hospital hos-pital after a lingering illness. The services were under direction di-rection of Bishop Walter Kerksiek. Prelude and post-lude post-lude music were by Mae C. White. The invocation was by George C. Murdock. Special musical numbers were two vio- I lin duets'by Macel Horton and Linda Prince, and two vocal duets by Anona Smith and Esta Cox. Speakers were S. Taylor Farnsworth, Robert B. White and Bishop Adams of Cedar City. Milton Genary .pronounced the benediction, and the grave in Mountain View Cemetery was dedicated by Edwin R. Woolley. Pallbearers were Neil Gentry, Gent-ry, Russell Stock, Joe Gentry, Frank Gentry, Mack Gentry and Mack Patterson. Mrs. Gentrv was born April 14, 1887, in Mount Pleasant, to Neils Larsen and Eliza Emily Truly Madsen. She married :Samuel G. Gentry on Nov. 29, 1905, in Manti. The marriage was later solemnized in the St. George Temple. Mr. Gentry died Feb. 11, 1947. Surviving are two sons and fiv.e daughters: Sgt. Russell A. Gentry, Colorado 'Springs, Colo.; Samuel M. Gentry and Mrs. Irene Goodwin, Cedar City; sMrs. LaVernc Stock, Ogden ; Mrs. Maude Woolley, Salt Lake; Mrs. Emily Gillins, Minersville, and Mrs. Betty Lowe, Parowan ; aso 33 grandchildren, grand-children, 10' great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Maude Young, Provo. |
