Show Beaver - High " School - Notes ? By Julie Ann Farrer SOPHOMORES PLAN CARNIVAL Halloween night at B H S will be spent in the fun of the Sophomore Sopho-more Carnival, in the Beaver High gymnasium. Each year the Sophomore clas" iat Beaver Hig-h sgonsors a high school carnival. Each class has an opportunity to earn a little extra money, and the student; have an opportunity to have the time of their life. After the ear-nival ear-nival is over, a big dance is held. All students are looking forward Ito a "big time" at the Sophomore Carnival of '58. PEP CLUB IN PREPARATION The B-Steps, Beaver High's pep club, is fast 'preparing for their second appearance this year. The group of 28 girls will perform per-form during the halftime at the Beaver-Dixie game. Under the direction of Miss '. Belt, the girls' physical education director, the group has been preparing pre-paring for this performance for three weeks. They plan to make a, .good showing Friday and represent repre-sent their school in a fine manner. DRAMATIC CLU3 BOOSTS PLAY The B H S Dramatic Club met last week in their monthly business busi-ness meeting. The group held their meeting during the noon hour to plan the school play campaign. cam-paign. , , The club selected an advertising , "committee, a ticket selling com- ' mittee and a program committee Ito help "push" the school play this year. Chairmen appointed were: Julie Ann Farrer, advertising; Lynn Smith, ticket sales, and Dianne Fli- ley, ipirogram committee. BEAVER TO MEET LAST OPPONENT In the last game of the football season, the Beaver Beavers will meet a strong team from Dixie on Friday, Oct. 31. This game promises to be very thrilling, as the two teams are so closely matched. Coach Lindsay and the Beaver team will go all out to win their last game. The two teams will battle it out on the Beavers' home field.
