Show Sheridan Ray Rogers Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 27, in the Mil-lord Mil-lord L D S Church for Sheridan Sheri-dan Ray Rogers, 20, who was killed Oct. 23 in an automobile accident on the Minersville-Cedar Minersville-Cedar City road, about 15 miles north of Cedar City. The services, under direction direc-tion of Bishop Cecil Edwards, were as follows: Prelude and postlude music, Mrs. Edna Nichols. Invocation, Bill Nichols. Carlyle Gronning and Rue Neilsen were the speakers. Musical numbers were by a male trio, Jesse Long, Gary Anderson and LaMar Lund, and a solo by Mrs. Vivian Rollins. President J. C. Smith pronounced pro-nounced the benediction, and the grave in the Milford Cemetery Cem-etery was dedicated by Morris A 11 man. Pallbearers were Vee Wads-worth, Wads-worth, Clark Grimshaw, Ronald Ron-ald Brinkman Ray Whiting, Wade Meadows and Raeldon Baudino. Rav was born in Milford, Jan. 15, 1938, to Sheridan M. and Lclia Mae Manhard Rogers. Rog-ers. He attended the Milford schools, and enlisted in the U S Navv after graduating from Milford High in 1956. He was ordained a deacon and teacher in the Priesthood. At the time of his death he was employed at the Joe Bal-linger Bal-linger farm in South Milford. Surviving, besides his par ents, arc three brothers and a sister, Billie Joe, Calvin, Dale and Lclia Mae, all of Milford. and Lelia Mae, and grandparents grandpar-ents Mr. and Mrs. Roy Rogers, Rog-ers, all of Milford. |
