Show U of U Scholarships Offered Teachers Thirty scholarships will be awarded senior and junior high school teachers in Utah to attend at-tend a Natural Resource Workshop Work-shop at the University of Utah from June 11 to July 2. The workshop, which for the. third year is sponsored by the University's Extension Division Divi-sion and the Natural Resources Committee of Utah's Chambers of Commerce, will include three weeks of concentrated classroom class-room lectures in addition to several sev-eral field trips to the State's major economic regions to study the important and changing chang-ing picture of Utah's mineral industries. in-dustries. The field study's emphasis em-phasis will be on the problems of these industries and their economic eco-nomic impact on the State. The course, which carries university credit, is under the, direction of Osmond Harline of the university's Bureau of Economic Eco-nomic and Business Research, and Elroy Nelson, Vice President Presi-dent and Economist of the First Security Corporation. The scholarships are open to all junior and senior high school teachers with preference being given to those in natural sciences and social sciences. A limited number of school administrators ad-ministrators will also be accepted. ac-cepted.
