Johnny Gardikas and Warren Palmer enjoyed a picnic in But-terfield But-terfield Canyon Saturday. Refreshments Re-freshments were served. P-TA Coppcrfield P-TA adult education educa-tion committee is having a sewing sew-ing class which began Wednesday, Wednes-day, October 28 at 7:15 p.m. in the school auditorium. Mrs. Elmo El-mo Nelson of Bingham is the instructor. Several ladies have registered. Anyone from Cop-perfield Cop-perfield that is interested is welcome to attend these classes. Pete Gardikis, who is stution-'ed stution-'ed at Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, Nev., came home on a ' three day leave to spend with South High School Saturday. A boy and girl from the student body will be chosen to go with her. Toni Stewart, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. K. Stewart of Bingham was overnight guest Monday of Jeanne Sanchez. his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gardikas, and his brother Johnny. John-ny. UPPER BINGHAM SCHOOL NOTES First Grada Mrs. Carr's first graders made a spook stand. They made a lot of Halloween pictures and masks. Fifth Grad.i Mr. Ferrin's fifth grade class are studying about the weather. They have made a barometer with mercury, and have also had experience with air pressure. The P-TA Home Room Mothers Moth-ers will participate with the school in giving Halloween parties par-ties Friday afternoon. All the boys and girls are busy making Halloween pictures and masks. A picture show is to . be given also. Miss Faye White will attend the Junior Red Cross meetingjat |
