Show National Eisteddfod. Salt Lake City, Sept. 14. An event of national importance ia the Third Annual Grand National Eisteddfod, which takes place at the Mormon Tabernacle, Tab-ernacle, Salt Lake City, October 5, 8 and 7. Many prominent citizens from all parts of the country will be present. Dr. Joseph Parry, of Wales, the great composer, will be the adjudicator of the musical contest, con-test, while Judge II. M. Edwards of Scranton, Pa., will be the conductor of the Eisteddfod. Professor Joseph J. Daynes,- the tabernacle organist, has been engaged as oilicial accompaniest; Judge C. C. Goodwin, Hon. C. W. Penrose Pen-rose and Eon. B. II. Roberts, adjudicators adjudica-tors of English literature, and Rev. M. A. Ellis of Denver,adjudicator of Welsh literature. Choruses, bands, harpists, vocalists, poets and orators from all parts of the west, and many from the eastern states will take part in the great festival. Low railroad rates have been secured on all lines and thousands thou-sands of people will avail themselves of the opportunity of witnessing one of the grandest musical feasts ever offered to the people of Utah. The Eisteddfod opens Wednesday afternoon and will run for the balance of the week. At noon, Wednesday, October 5, a procession will form at the Brigbam Young monument and a grand parade will follow.
