Bon Taylor started today for Milford for freight. John Schmutz, of St. George, is visiting visit-ing i-elatives here. Mahouri Shapley of Kanarra was a visitor here Sunday, the 11th inst. A surprise party invaded the home of the president of the Relief Society Mrs. M. D. Pace on the 12th inst. The Misses Mary Reed, Villo Reed and Alice Reed left here Friday for Cedar City to attend the Normal School. Mrs. Sehlappi left here for iier home at Middleto'ii; near St. George, on Friday. Fri-day. She has been here several weeks for the benefit of her health. Several loads of wheat were taken from here to the mill at Cedar City last week. 33 lbs of flour and 15 lbs of bran is given for each bushel of wheat. What a mail service! I received a letter last Friday, the 10th inst., that was posted at Toquerville on the 5th inst; The distance is 20 miles between the two places, yet the letter had been through the postoffices at Leeds and Kanarra, A wedding reception was held at the residence of Mrs. Julia Taylor in honor of her daughter, Lenora, who was recently re-cently married to Enoch Naegle. There were present from Toquerville, Mrs. Rcgula Naegle,, John Naegle and wife, Mrs. Vilate Kleinamaii, Jrseph Naegle, Miss Edna Jackson, Mrs. Rose Lund and James Naegle.
