OCR Text	Show JOSEPH LEITER'S PROJECT. Purchases Locomotive Works For Els Air Power Company. Providence, R. I., Jan. 8. Joseph H. Iloadley of New York, acting for Joseph Leiter. the Chicago financier, has confirmed 'the report that the Leiter syndicate had secured the Rhode Island Locomotive Works property and would, as soon as possible, begin work. The works will be operated by the International Air Power company, the syndicate controlled by Joseph Leiter and the Rothschilds of Europe. The newly acquired plant will be used in the manufacture of appliances for the New York Automatic Truck company, now installing trucks for operation in New York and horseless trucks to be operated by compressed air. The company com-pany will also continue the manufacture manufac-ture of steam locomotives.
