Everybody was with it from the age of 16 up. It was held in the school house, which was tastefully decorated with evergreens and flags, while over the stand was the motto: ''God bless the old folks." About 1 o'clock the old folks were brought in carriages to the school house, where everything- good to eat "was ready; all enjoyed themselves well. At 8 o'clock in the evening dancing commenced, being interspersed with songs, music, recitations, etc. Everybody helped to make this occasion a success. Some cooked at home, while others prepared the things in the school house. The committees and all who helped are deserving de-serving of credit for preparing such a pleasant party for the old folks.
