Special session, held December 28, 1899. Present Mayor Brown, Crs. Jarvis, Foster, Miles and Cottam. Report of Auditory committee on accounts ac-counts of Recorder and Treasurer, that the accounts were correct, accepted. The City Attorney reported as regards re-gards the range animals on Cottonwood Cotton-wood canal; as to damage to canal, the owners could be made to pay for damages, dam-ages, but there was no statute as to any other method. The Recorder was of the same opinion. Report accepted. Several bills were allowed and civil service bill appropriated, after which the council adjourned. |
