Show PEXE VALLEY. Mrs. William J. Snow of Pinto was here recently on a visit. B.oyal S. Gardner, who had his foot badly mashed in the canyon by a log railing over him, is able to be out again, tho lame. ' We had a dress ball on the 29th ult., &; lie of the characters being excellent. The clown was alive to his calling and caused lots of fun. Bros. Maxwell and Mattice, the Mutual missionaries, visited Pine Valley Val-ley on the 28th ult., and we enjoyed their visit very much. Please come again. The Primary children had an entertainment enter-tainment on the 23rd ult., and rendered their parts vevy well. Nuts and candy was furnished the children, and after a dance lasting one hour they were dismissed. A scalp hunt was organized by the men and boys here, the losing side to stand a dance for the winners. The dance came off on the 27th ult., and they had a fine lively party, nuts being passed 'round to the company. David C. Gardner and Miss Ruth Burgess, of this place, wero married in the St. George Temple on December 20th. On the 25th, they entertained their relatives and friends to supper and a dance. Everything passed off very nicely. |
