Show Hurricane Added to County Towns Nov 'Over the Top' While Washington county as a whole has purchased 5129,369 to date in all issues of the Victory Bond Drive, it is still far from reaching the allotment of $286,-000, $286,-000, reports the central committee. Town chairmen and all citizens are being urged to encourage the buying of bonds as Christmas gifts in an effort to help Washington Wash-ington County redeem her pledge given to meet the quota assigned. To date three towns of the county report having topped the hurdle. These are New Harmony, Leeds and . Hurricane, and all three have gone over with flying colors. New Harmony over-subscribed her allotment; Leeds almost al-most doubled her E-bond allotment, allot-ment, taking her entire allotment of all bonds in E-Bonds. And Hur ricane, with an E-Bond quota of 525,805, purchased 526,975, making mak-ing 104, up to Dec. 8. Hurricane has also subscribed its additional other than E-bonds $16,500, "so it it goes over the top in all categories" cate-gories" reports chairman Senator Claud Hirschi. In addition to the above, the State Bank of Hurricane has purchased its limit, $37,400 in corporation Bonds, which cannot be applied on any quotas under the Treasury Department ruling.
