Show Closing Program of WPA Recreation Workers Features Reports of Work Accomplished sPecial reports, and the survey summer closing programs were '"e outstanding items considered at the Wednesday mid-day staff meeting of the Washington county pA recreation workers. Miss Kuth Skidmore, district supervisor of Cedar City conducted the session ses-sion with the workers of all county coun-ty centers except Enterprise, attending. at-tending. Sessions were held in the MeQuarrie Memorial hall. Report Community Projects Details of report instructions from Miss Skidmore were added to by district time-keeper, Milton Hatton who was also present. Individual In-dividual reports of community projects were made by Mrs. Nancy E Crawford of Springdale, Mrs. Cora Brown and Mi's. Jesse H. Gibson of Hurricane. Robert Dean of Toquerville. Nellie S. Martin-eau Martin-eau of Gunlock and Gwendolyn Rogers of St. George. Special guests for this phase of the program were Mrs. Milton Hatton and little daughter; Squire Crawford, and former Director Whitehead. Instruction session was resumed at 1 p. m., directed by Miss Skid-more. Skid-more. Mr. Whitehead remaining on request and responding with helpful information on several of the community set-ups throughout through-out the county with which he is familiar. Adjournment was taken at 2 p. m., with plans for the next county staff meeting temporarily scheduled for the week of August 27, unless otherwise arranged, and to be held in conjunction with the Play School Institute. |
