Show St. George and renew acquaintance often. Tthe final number on the program was a mirth-provoking and sidesplitting side-splitting one. It was a debate, the subject. "Resolved. That red-headed women are more useful in the ward than black-headed women." The affirmative was taken by Mrs. Bigelow Bige-low and Mrs. Grace Woodbury; the negative by Miss Ruby Bryner and Miss Mabel Jarvis. The judges decided de-cided in favor of the affirmative. It was sure some debate and caused lots of fun. Mr. and Mrs. Bigelow can have no doubt as to how the people here feel towards them after hearing the eulogies poured out at this gathering. They are both gbod, useful citizens, undefatigable in doing good, and they go to their new home with the best wishes of a host of friends for their happiness and success. |
