Show IIIEIIS DISPLAY FOR FOURTH Preparations for the big Independence Inde-pendence day celebration here are being be-ing pushed and the complete program pro-gram will be ready for the next issue of this paper. Another float will be added to the parade, that of the O. K. Bakery, making thirty floats in line. Prizes for floats will be as follows: First prize ?60. second $10, third $20. There will be an entrance fee of $5 and floats will be judged 50 C,-on C,-on representation-and 50r; on decoration. decor-ation. The judges will be Pres. Edw. H. Snow, William Brooks, Jos. S. Snow, Mrs. Laura A. Gates and Mrs. Vivian Woodbury. The fireworks display at night will be the biggest ever given in the county and will cost about '200. The display will be given on the City Park ground. Lester Keate Post of the American Legion is determined to make the coming celebration of4 Independance day the best ever held in the county. The program will be a big one. something some-thing doing all the time', and it will be well worth coming to see. |
