Show Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thurston Dies Buried in the St. George city cemetery at a late hour Monday evening, Jan. 19, was Alice Tam-ara Tam-ara Thurston, 8-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Thurston of Overton. She died Jan. 17 in the Las Vegas hopsital after a year's illness from intestinal tumors. Earlier in the day funeral services serv-ices were held in the Overton ward hall ,with Bishop Kenneth Earl presiding. Speakers were J. M. Bowman, Wallace Jones and Bryan J. Bunker, Moapa stake president. Musical numbers were by Mrs. Arthur Paxman and Mrs. Harry Gentry of this city, with others from Moapa stake. Surviving besides her parents, Paul and Alice Woodbury Thurston Thurs-ton are one brother and three sisters, sis-ters, Kelly, Marylin, Thais and Emma Louise, her paternal grandmother, grand-mother, Katharine Thurston of Salt Lake City, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. R. P. Woodbury of Hurricane. Attending the Overton services from St. George were Mr. and Mrs. Paxman and their daughters, Ferol and Audrey and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Gentry. |
