Show Father-Son Banquet Program About Ready Says Comm. Smith The program for the Father-Son banquet to be held in the college gymnasium is about completed, according to B. Glen Smith, Scout commissioner, who is in charge. The individual numbers will be announced next week he stated. Featured will be the Father-Son Father-Son relationship. Partcipating will be the scouting organization, the Boys' club of the college, the local F. F. A. club and the various civic clubs of the community. Each group is to be asked to sing a club or organization song as a part of the roll call. W. C. Cox reports that the banquet ban-quet menu has been selected and that arrangements are being made for the serving. The publicity committee, headed by V. J. Frei and Donald Schmutz, announce that tickets are in the hands of local Scout troops, where they will remain until Feb. 9. At that time they will be placed in central locations for purchase. The publicity committee is very desirous that every one learn of the change of policy in regard to tickets; namely, that they must be purchased before the night of the banquet. If any individual is missed, he should contact the Scouts of his district. The program is also complete for the annual court of honor at the Tabernacle on the evening of Feb. 8, Scouting anniversary day, according to W. C. Cox, local chairman of the court of honor committee. Featured on this program pro-gram will be an inspirational Scout story by Leo G. Smith, local chairman of camping and activities. activi-ties. Scout awards will also be made. |
