Show HURRICANE Mrs. Vernet Hinton Reporter Gums Adams of Redwood, Calif., is here visiting relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Elgin Graff of Santa Clara were visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Keith Tobler on Thursday. Thurs-day. They were accompanied home by Miss Kay Lynn Tobler to visit with her grandmother for a week. Clark Staheli, 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Lafe Staheli, had the misfortune to get thrown from his bicycle into the Hurricane Wash. Both of his arms were broken and he received head cuts. Mrs. Merlene Ballard left for Florida to be with her husband, who is stationed there. 'Claud Wood, a former resident of here met death Tuesday afternoon after-noon at Roy, Utah, while driving a gravel truck. A birthday party was given for Mrs. Edith Anderson Wednesday-at Wednesday-at the home of Mrs. Ruth Hinton. The North ward Sunday school class left Wednesday morning for Navajo lake to spend a few days. They are under the supervision of Mr. and Mrs. Victor King. Mr. and Mrs. Walter Brooks spent Monday through Thursday at Pine Valley fishing. Mr. and Mrs. Carol Heaton, Mr. and Mrs. Gardner Heywood and families returned Tuesday evening for a week's vacation in Salt Lake City. Mrs. Clave Walker left Tuesday for Caliente to spend a week with her husband. Mr. and Mrs. Conway LaVaron of Kingman, Ariz., are here on business for a week. (Miss Lynette Madsen, daughter of Mr. ' and Mrs. Jay Madsen of Springville who has been visiting the daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Kemp, returned to her home last Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jones and two small daughters accompanied by their sister, Mrs. Vivian-. Leany and son Reed, left Saturday for the Roy Larson sheep ranch to spend several days. |
