Show Army-Navy Tests To Be Given At Hurricane HURRICANE, Utah. The second qualifying test for the Army specialized spe-cialized training program and the Navy college program V-12 which will be given throughout the country on Tuesday, Nov. 9, will be administered at the Hurricane high school, Maurice Nuttall announced an-nounced today. A pamphlet of general information which contains con-tains an admission-identification form may be obtained at-Hurricane high school. This form properly filled out will admit to the test students between the ages of 17 and 21, inclusive, who are recent high school graduates or who will be graduated by Mar. 1, 1944. Intent to take the test should be made known immediately im-mediately to Mr. Nuttall in order that the necessary test supplies may be ordered. The same examination will be taken by both Army and Navy candidates. At the time of the test each candidate will be given a choice of service, but taking the test does not obligate the candidate to enlist in the service. Successful Suc-cessful completion of the prescribed pres-cribed courses may, following further fur-ther officer training, lead to a commission in the Army or Navy. Those selected for .the Army will, after further screening and basic military training, be sent to college. Students chosen for the Navy program, after selection by the Office of Naval Officer Procurement, will be detailed directly di-rectly to college. |
