Show News from Our Boys In the Armed Forces Waldo Romney Visits Home from Fort Douglas to visit over the Thanksgiving holidays with his mother, Mrs. Roxey S. Romney, is Waldo Romney, M. P., who arrived Friday. He is well on his way to recovery from injuries sustained recently in a car accident acci-dent in connection with his policing polic-ing duties out from Fort Douglas. U. S. A. Sgt Julian Jennings Home Home for a brief furlough recently re-cently from Camp White, Ore., was Sgt. George Julian Jennings, son of Mr. and Mrs. L. B. Jennings Jenn-ings of this city. This was his first visit home in more than a year and he thinks it may be another year before the. privilege will be repeated. He ' left St. George with the 115th Engineers and is one of the group of that company who helped to establish the cadre at Camp White three months ago. When he returned to camp he was accompanied as far as Los Angeles by his parents and from there he took the train up the Coast to Oregon. He says he enjoys his job with Uncle Sam keh and is learning some great things in this school. U. S. A. Hersehel Hafen Transferred Pfc. Herschel Hafen sent word to his parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Hafen, that he would leave yesterday yester-day (Wednesday) for New York. He has been stationed at Williams Feld. Ariz. Private Hafen is in the Quartermaster's division. |
