Show Washington and St. George Couple Wed Friday Home of Bride's Parents WASHINGTON, Utah. Ex changing marriage vows Friday evening, Sept. 21 were Miss Thora Tobler of Washington and SSgt. Sidney Sorenson, son of ' Mrs. Willard Sorenson of St. George. Bp. Alton Jones of Washington performed the ceremony at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Gottleib Zahner in Washington, intimate relatives and a few close friends of the two families attending. The bride was gowned in a floor length model of white satin with full train. Her finger length veil fell from a coronet of orange blossoms and her corsage was of red and white rose buds. She was attended by her sister, Miss Neola Zahner as maid of honor and Walter McCall of Las Vegas was the groom's best man. Following a buffet lunch the couple left for a short honeymoon honey-moon to Mt. Charleston, Nevada. For the past year the bride has been employed at Defense work at Hill Field, in Ogden, and Sgt. Sorenson is home on furlough after 18 months service on the battlefronts of Europe. |
