Show ENTERPRISE Mrs. Theresa Huntsman Mrs. Lillian Pace Reporters A community farewell party was given Feb. 9th for Mr. and Mrs. George Lippold and family, who left Feb. 10 for Hurricane to make their home. The Lippolds have resided in Enterprise for three years, but being horticulturist, horti-culturist, Mr. Lippold has found no opportunity to practice his art. For this reason they have moved to Hurricane where his training should put him at an advantage. Last Thursday evening, Feb. 11, a farewell party was given for Elwin Hunt who left Friday for California to be inducted into the U. S. Army. A large crowd attended at-tended and enjoyed the program, which included community singing led by H. M. Holt, with Gertrude Lund at the piano; readings, Delia Truman and Dorothy Truman; talk, Amos Holt; vocal quartet' Alma Terry, Heber Holt, Merlin Huntsman and Merrill Terry; talks by Herman Adams and Win-sor Win-sor Adams, who are home on furloughs fur-loughs from the Army, and by the honored guest, Elwin Hunt. Mrs. Ethel Simpkins has returned re-turned home from Panaca, Nev where she visited for a week with her children, Mr. and Mrs. Osborne Os-borne Edwards. Leland Huntsman underwent a tonsilectomy at the Iron county hospital last week. |
