OCR Text	Show VIRGIN Minerva Earl Reporter Mrs. Henry Cornelius received word that her son, Russell B. Cornelius, has been called into the Army air corps, and is stationed sta-tioned at Sant Ana, Calif., for his basic training. Mrs. B. M. Jones has returned home from Las Vegas where she spent the past ten days visiting with her son, Capt. Clifford Jones and wife. Capt. Jones was home on furlough from Texas, prior to his departure overseas. Karl Spendlove entered the Iron county hospital " last week for surgery. William Brinkerhoff returned home from the Iron county hospital hos-pital last Thursday. Mrs. Jack Schofield is here visiting vis-iting at the home of her father, Sylvester Earl. Mrs. Muriel Ruesch and sons of Springdale visited with her' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Barney the past few days.
