Show ! SANTA CLARA Miss Amanda Graff Reporter Charles Hafen and family and Irene Graff- spent Thanksgiving in Las Vegas with relatives. Mrs. Lorenzo Leavitt is in Cedar City with her daughter Vivian, and family. Tom Watson was visiting the past week with Mr. and Mrs. Jake Beacham and with his brother, Don Watson. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Peterson visited with relatives here Monday. Thursday evening a program and dance was given in honor of our soldier boys that are home. Mrs. Evan Whitehead and children child-ren were Monday guests at the Ensign Gubler home. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jackson and family of Tooele and Mr. and Mrs. Morel spent Thanksgiving at the Lazell Stucki home. Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Larson of Ogden and Mrs. Rosena Blake of St. George were Sunday visitors visit-ors at the Archie Gubler home. Mrs. Emil Gubler entertained a number of relatives Friday evening even-ing at a party for her brother. Ross McArthur who was home on furlough. Friday Mr. and Mrs. Emil Gubler took Ross to Las Vegas enroute to San Dirgo. Mr. and Mrs. Sylvan Graff and children have returned home from Escalante where they spent a few days visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Michel Schowl. Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Chilclrrs were Saturday afternoon visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Graff. (Held Over from Last Week) Mrs. Cecil Frei entertained the Dutchett Club Thursday afternoon. after-noon. Honors were won by Mrs. Harvey Stucki, Mrs. Spencer Reber and Mrs. Levoy Mason after which lunch was served to 16. Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Seegmiller of St. George spent Tuesday at the home of their daughter Mrs. Cecil Frei. Mrs. Beulah Graff and son Jan spent Sunday here with relatives. The Bee Hive girls and their teacher Mrs. Owen Frei, gave a splendid program Sunday. . r f T"a TT! A shower for Mrs. Don Frei was given Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Frei received many gifts and, after a program, lunch was served. Mrs. Bob Morris and children left Tuesday for their home in California after a 10-day visit. Mrs. L. J. Graff and Francell Graff were in Cedar City Monday. Miss Ramona Gray was here Sunday visiting with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Langston and family spent Sunday here. Mrs. Howard Frei and family are in Koosharem visiting with her parents. Richard Knee left Thursday for Los Angeles, California. John M. Stucki returned Friday from the McGregor hospital. Miss Norma Esplin spent last week here with her mother, Mrs. Lucy K. Graff. Mrs. Lena Knee has Ix'on ill the past week. Mrs. Andy Holt and baby and Spcnce Esplin SJC of USS Iowa were visiting with their mother, Mrs. Henry Graff last. week. |
