Show Alice Louise Reynolds Clubs Combine For Annual Birthday Fete The Alice Louise Reynolds Club No. 9 of St. George and No. 13 of Hurricane combined Wednesday Wednes-day evening in St. George for their annual birthday anniversary dinner and party honoring their founder, the late Alice Louise Reynolds. Meeting at 8 p.m. the candle lighting ceremony was conducted in the assembly room of the chapel, followed by introductions of the membership of each club by Mrs. John A. Judd for the Hurricane group and Mrs. Clinton Snow for the St. George club. Dinner was served at 9 p.m. in the basement hall of the chapel with Mrs. Laron S. Andrus as master of ceremonies in presenting present-ing the following program: Piano solo, Maud Reid, Hurricane; vocal duets, Roene Bigler and Lawrence Memmett, directed by Mrs. Walter Wal-ter Pace; violin solo, Mrs. Paul Hafen, St. George; reading, Mrs. John A. Judd, Hurricane; club song, Hurricane, conducted by Miss Emil Graff. Presentation of the year's collection of books to respective libraries by Mrs. Inez Bergner, Hurricane and Mrs. Emerald Cox of St. George. |
