Show CUJP. SCOUT TROl'P GIVES CONCERT HERE Thirty Scouts from Santa Barbara, Barb-ara, California, gave a band concert con-cert at the open-air pavilion last "Wednesday night. That the numbers were rendered in a very splendid man-! xer, is the report of those present. Accompanying the boys and' leading them were Gene Harris, director; James Kent, astssitant; . 1 director; and George Neely, chef. The concert was given without with-out charge. Local Scouts entertained enter-tained the visitors with a grape "bust", and the college authorities authori-ties and recreation committee allowed al-lowed the use of the gymnasium land pavilion for sleeping quarters. quart-ers. The boys from Santa Barbara are on an extended tour of western west-ern parks and other places of interest. |
