Show Appointment Announced By Forestry Department Jack M. Buckhouse has been appointed ap-pointed to the position of Junior Range Examiner on the Dixie National Forest to fill the position left vacant by the recent promotion promo-tion of Irwin H. Johnson as Ranger on the Pine Valley Ranger Ran-ger District, it is announced by Blaine Betenson, forest supervisor. super-visor. Mr. Buckhouse graduated from the University of Montana in range management in 1936, and since that time he has been employed em-ployed by the U. S. Forest Service Ser-vice in that state on the Deer-lodge Deer-lodge National Forest in various capacities. He is a member of the Drew Honorary Forest Fraternity Frater-nity which requires very high scholastic records to be eligible for membership. Mr. Buckhouse will be assigned to general administrative work under the direction of the various Forest Rangers, but a large part of his time will be consumed in the administration of grazing and wildlife management on the Forest, the Supervisor said. |
