Show Santa Clara Presents Pioneer Program Tuesday SANTA CLARA, Utah In commemoration com-memoration of the 93 anniversary of the arrival of the Pioneers in Utah, a very appropriate and enjoyable en-joyable program was held Tuesday Tues-day evening at the Santa Rosa dance pavilion. A large crowd was present. The program consisted of a number by the male quartet, "The Home Winner". It was sung by Ernest and Leo Reber, Henry (Continued on page eight) Santa Clara Presents (Continued from first page) Graff and George Tobler. Jacob Frei offered the prayer. A true incident, that happened when John S. Stucki was crossing the plains was dramatized. Other numbers were as follows: Pioneer dance, presented by a group of young people; singing by the audience. "Come. Come Ye Saints"; duet by Mrs. Rulon Stucki and Mrs. Clair Hafen. "Our Noble Pioneers"; the dramatizing of a "Pioneer Courtship"; solo. "Sego Lily", was sung by Mrs. Ernest Tobler: closing song by the audience. "God Bless America" and the closing p raver bv Adolph Hafen. An additional program was presented pre-sented Wednesday which included a sports program, dance for the children and special entertainment entertain-ment for the Pioneers. |
