Mrs. Minnie Connell and daughter, daugh-ter, Lilian, who have been residing resid-ing in Pioche. arrived here early Saturday and visited relatives before be-fore going on to Eureka to visit her daughter, Rita. Mrs. Earl Childers and Miss Irene Milne of St. George spent Sunday visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Anthole Milne. Miss Alta Connell is employed at Camp Washington. Miss Augusta Gould is opening a library here, under the supervision super-vision of the N'.Y.A. She has canvassed can-vassed the town to find the kind of books people are more likely to read and has invited all the children to join her in "Story' Hour" from 5 to 6 p.m. Willard and Rulon Pectol left for Idaho Monday in search of work. Mrs. Viola Holt of St. George is confined to her bed at the home of her son, Ray Larson. Ben Holland made a business trip to Leeds Monday. Ray Miller and son, Leon, Wan-less Wan-less Pectol, Gene and Paul Judd left last week for California. Mr. Miller went to seek employment while the others went to visit relatives. Mrs. Estella Reidhead entertained enter-tained at a party Tuesday night in honor of her daughters, Ada and Zona. Games were the diversion diver-sion and refreshments were served serv-ed at 7 p.m. to a large group of playmates. |
