Show New Harmony M. Hammond Reporter Mrs. Clyde Turnbeaugh of St. George is visiting relatives and friends here and intends staying for some time. Miss Fawn Schmutz of St. George is a guest of Mrs. Amelia Schmutz, her grandmother, and will remain here for a week visiting old friends and other relatives while enjoying the cool mountain air. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Gillespie of Cedar City was a Sunday visitor at the home of Mrs. Gillespie's Gilles-pie's mother, Mrs. M. O. Woolsey. Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Pace and family . left Saturday for Pine Valley where she intends staying for several days. Mr. and Mrs. Preston Pace of Cedar City were visiting Sunday with Mr. Pace's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Pace. Speakers at our sacrament meeting Sunday were the Paro-wan Paro-wan stake presidency and three from Cedar City: William R. Palmer, Lamont Fuller and Arthur Jones. Their remarks were timely and instructive. Berry Williams and small son of Kanarraville visited here Sunday Sun-day with Mr. and Mrs. Reese Davis. The farmers are harvesting their grain crop; dry land went 30 and 35 bushels to the acre. Grasshoppers are still plentiful with a second hatching coming on. A party was given Marlin Ma this at 4:30 Sunday, honoring her tenth birthday anniversary. Saturday, several of our townsfolk towns-folk motored to St. George to attend two sessions at the Temple. They were Mr. and Mrs. George F. Prince, , Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Graff, Orson Hammond and Amelia Schmutz. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Grant returned re-turned home Saturday from St. George where they spent two weeks working in the Temple. |
